A calendar of traditions should open on the day you need it
Most of the customs in this app happen on a particular day in a particular valley, and the moment you want to read about them is usually that day, standing in that valley, with the phone half out of a pocket. A guide that has to fetch its entries first is no use there, and one that wants a sign-in is even less.
Ljudsko ships whole: every entry, both language versions, the images, the season and region indexes and the search are compiled into the download. Nothing is fetched while you read, nothing unlocks later, and there is nothing inside the app to buy.
Customs vary from village to village, and so do the stories told about them. Where regions disagree, the app says so rather than choosing one version and calling it the tradition.

Why carnival never falls on the same day twice
Nothing about a single custom here — one piece of calendar arithmetic that governs half of them. Kurentovanje ends on Shrove Tuesday, which is fixed to Easter, and Easter is fixed to the moon: the first Sunday after the first full moon on or after 21 March. Choose a year and the bench works it out with the same algorithm church calendars have used for centuries.
